The ceremony at the Governor’s Residence on Tuesday, May 7, was held in conjunction with nationally-observed Public Service Recognition Week.

This emergency rulemaking aligns the Director's Procedures with the state personnel system’s Paid Family Medical Leave (PFML) policies created by the State Personnel Director under the authority of §24-50-104(1)(g), C.R.S., and becomes effective July 1, 2022. Pursuant to the Administrative Procedures Act, §24-4-103(6), C.R.S. an emergency rule can only be in effect for a maximum of 120 days.
